(5t+1/4)^2
= (5t+1/4)(5t+1/4)
Apply FOIL:
= (5t)(5t)+(1/4)(5t)+(1/4)(5t)+(1/4)(1/4)
= 25t^2 + (5/4)t+(5/4)t + 1/16
= 25t^2 + (10/4)t + 1/16
= 25t^2 + (5/2)t + 1/16
