(I know distributive law, I cannot figure out how to set problem up to solve it)

"Jon's father is 3 times as old as Jon" ___ f = 3j

"Four years ago he was 4 times older" ___ f - 4 = 4(j - 4)

substituting ___ (3j) - 4 = 4(j - 4)
