I'm a little slow when it comes to math. I can consintrate. Math dosen't catch my interest. Is there anything I could do to help me not fail algebra in high school?

The distributive law says that:
a(b + c) = ab + ac
Example 1:
2x(4x - 1)= 8x^2 - 2x
Example 2:
5x -x(4x - 1)
= 5x - 1x(4x - 1)
= 5x - 4x^2 + 1x
= -4x^2 + 6x
