x + 2y = 4.

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x+2y=4
SET Y=0 & SOLVE FOR X.
X+2*0=4
X=4 (4,0) X INTERCEPT.
SET X=0 & SOLVE FOR Y.
0+2Y=4
2Y=4
Y=4/2=2 (0,2) Y INTERCEPT.
X+2Y=4
2Y=-X+4
Y=-X/2+4/2
Y=-X/2+2
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, -x/2 +2).
