Question 221041: What property goes for this equation?: x(y+1)+[1+(-1)]= x(y+1)
Answer by rapaljer(4671) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
By the additive inverse property [1+(-1)] equals zero.
Then by the identity property of addition, x(y+1)+0=x(y+1).
So, actually TWO properties are involved.
