problem is:
s-(-3)-(s+(-3))-3
s - (-3) is the same as s + 3 so equation can be rewritten as
s + 3 - (s + (-3))-3
within the parentheses
s + (-3) is the same as s - 3 so the equation can be rewritten as
s + 3 - (s - 3) - 3
- (s - 3) is the same as - s + 3 so the equation can be rewritten as
s + 3 - s + 3 - 3
the two s's cancel out and two of the 3's cancel out leaving
3
your answer is 3.
