Question 159599: HOW DO I WORK THIS OUT

-2(2g - 6) = 10

Answer by KnightOwlTutor(293)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
-2(2g - 6) = 10
-4g+12=10
When you multiply
(-)(+)=(-)always
(-)(-)=(+)always
Subract 12 from both sides
-4g=-2
Divide both sides by -4
g=1/2 or .5
test
-2([1/2(2])-6)=10
-2(1-6)=10
-2(-5)=10
