Answer by dkspoet(13) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2 + (A+3)/2 = 5.5
-2 + 2 + (A+3)/2 = 5.5 - 2
2*(A+3)/2 = 2*3.5
A+3-3 = 7-3
A = 4
