Question 13201: use the distributive propery to rewrite the expression without parentheses (x+8)10
Answer by akmb1215(68) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To use the distributive property, you multiply the number outside the parentheses (10 in this problem) by EVERY number inside the parentheses. So you will do 10*x and then 10*8. Since the + sign is between the x and 8, it will be between the two answers you get for those problems. Your answer will be 10x + 80.
