first you look for a common factor of the integers
then look for common unknown factors (x,y,z)
then extract all common factors.
4x^3y^5z^2-12x^4y^6z^4+16x^2y^5z^3 here we have a common integer factor of 4,a common x factor of (x^2),a common y factor of (y^5) & a common z factor of (z^2)
now extract all these common factors from each term thus:
4x^2^y^5z^2(x-3x^2yz^2+4z) answer.
