Question 102928: A small firm produces both AM and AM/FM car radios. The AM radios take 15 h
to produce, and the AM/FM radios take 20 h. The number of production hours is
limited to 300 h per week. The plant’s capacity is limited to a total of 18 radios per week, and existing orders require that at least 4 AM radios and at least 3 AM/FM radios be produced per week. Write a system of inequalities representing this situation. Then, draw a graph of the feasible region given these conditions, in which x is the number of AM radios and y the number of AM/FM radios.

Question 106233: Find the value of "r" so the line that passes through each pair of points has the given slope.
(4,-5), (3,r) m=8
My answer is -3. Am I correct?
Here is how I got my answer: r - -5 over 3 - 4
8 = r- -5
_________
1 -1
8(-1)= 1(r - -5)
-8= 1r - -5
+5 +5
____________
-3=r

Question 108053: The problem reads:
Find the equation of the line that is parallel to 6x -3y = 9 and goes through the point (1,6).
I can solve the first part:
y = mx + b
6x = 3y = 9
-3y = -6x + 9
(-1) -3y = (-6x +9)(-1)
3y = 6x - 9
y = 2x - 3
But I need to see how the second part is worked
y - y1 = m(x-x1)
y - 6 = -2(x-1)
