Graph and find the domain and range of:
F(x) = 10^x
I have graphed this already with these coordinates:
(-3,.001)(-2,.01)(-1,.1)(0,1)(1,10)(2,100)(3,1000)
I do not understand how my professor gets (-inf,inf) for domain and (0,inf) for range. He has explained it for 10 minutes and I still do not understand.

Determining Domain::
Don't think of what the Domain is; think of what numbers cannot be
in the domain.
So, look at 10^x
Is there some Real Number value that x cannot be?
I can't think of any.
Therefore, The Domain is all Real Numbers or (-oo,+oo)
--------------------
Determinain Range::
Look at 10^x
10 is a positive number; no power of a positive can be negative or zero.
Therefore, The Range is (0,+oo)

Stan H.
