Question 8885: what are the cordinates of the x-intercept of the line 2x-5y=6

Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X-intercept is where y = 0. So, just plug in y=0,
2x - 5y = 6
2x - 5(0) = 6
2x = 6
x=3

If you want the coordinates of the point, that would be (3,0).
