Question 8883: 2x+8=-16
Answer by sama91(1)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This is so easy.
2x+8=-16
first -8 from both sides. 2x+8(-8)=-16(-8)
now your left with 2x= -24
then you have to get rid of the cofficient of x, which is 2.
to do this you have to divide both sides by 2.

2/2=0 so your are left with x. and on the other side -24/2 which = -12
so the answer is x=-12
i hope you have understood this. And please next time don't ask silly questions like this. becuase this is too easy. thanx lol. hope u get better at dis.
