Question 877361: Use systems of simultaneous equations to find the coordinates of the points of intersection for these two functions, y=1/4x+4, y=4/x, with working
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20060)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Which do you mean by
y=1/4x+4
y = (1/4)x+4, y = (1/4x)+4, or y=1/(4x+4) ????
If you mean the first one then

Substitute 4/x for y

Multiply through by LCD = 4x

Solve with the quadratic formula
