Question 87674: This problem I dont even know how you could graph it. I need help.
The problem goes like this: If x and y are integers, find the domain of { (x,y) : |y|= x and x_<4} graph the relation. Is it a function?

If x and y are integers, find the domain of { (x,y) : |y|= x and x_<4} graph the relation. Is it a function?
------------
If x=|y|, x is always greater than or equal to zero.
If x <= 4 AND x=|y|, then 0<=x<=4 is the Domain.
------------
For those values of x |y| will have only one value for each x value;
so the relation is a function.
