Question 826765: I need help to got two problem can, tm seem to solve them its called order of operation, graphing, and problem solving.
problem 1: simplify: 2/3+1/4 x5/6
problem 2: simplify: (3/4x2x16
problem: 3: simplify (5/6-1/2 divide by 4/9
problem 4: simplify (4/5+2/3)-(1/5)x2 can you help to solve these for me thank you
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Note:: I had to guess on where your parentheses begin and end.
It makes a difference.
==================================
problem 1: simplify: 2/3+1/4 x5/6
--------
(4*2+3*1)/12 * (5/6)
-------
(11/12)*(5/6) = 55/72
=====================================
problem 2: simplify: (3/4x2x16
(3/4)*32 = 3*8 = 24
==================================
problem: 3: simplify (5/6-1/2 divide by 4/9
(2*5-6*1)/12 divided by (4/9)
(4/12)*(9/4) = 9/12 = 3/4
=====================================
problem 4: simplify (4/5+2/3)-(1/5)x2
(3*4+5*2)/15 - (2/5)
(22/15)-(6/15)
= 16/15
-----------------------------------

Stan H.
