Question 70090: y=39-6x
x+3y=15
What are the coordinates on a graph for these equations?
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=39-6x
x+3y=15
What are the coordinates on a graph for these equations?
--------------------
Looking at y=39-6x
If x=0, y=39 giving you point (0,39)
If x=1, y=33 giving you point (1,33)
-------------------
Looking at x+3y=15
y=(-1/3)x+5
If x=0, y=5 giving you point (0,5)
If x=3, y=4 giving you point (3,4)
--------------
This is what the graphs look like:
