y+=+mx+%2B+b you can see that the slope, m = 1, and the y-intercept, b = -6.
To graph this linear equation, you can place a point at the y-intercept (0, -6) and another point at (6, 0). This second point comes from setting y = 0 in your equation and solving for x.
0+=+x+-+6 Add 6 to both sides.
6+=+x
Thus, the point (6, 0)
Then you draw a straight line through these two points.
