Given the linear equation y = -2x – 4,
find the y-coordinates of the points
(0,?)
? = -2*0-4 = 0-4 = -4
Ans: (0,-4)
--------------------------------
(-1,?)
? = -2*-1-4 = 2-4 = -2
Ans: (-1,-2)
--------------------------------
(2,?)
? = -2*2-4
? -4-4 = -8
Ans: (2,-8)
