Using the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line y = mx + b 

 where m is the slope and b the y-intercept. 

 equation of line with  Slope -5/2 and y-intercept 4/5.

    y = (-5/2)x + 4/5   |Note: line slants to the left m < 0
