5x+4y=2
2x-3y=-13

Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
5x+4y=2 .............1
2x-3y=-13 .............2

multiply (1)by 3
Multiply (2) by 4
15x+12y= 6
8x-12y=-52

Add the two equations

23x=-46

/23

x=-2

plug value of x in (1)

5x+4y=2
-10+4y=2
4y=2+10
4y=12
y=3
