Hi
Midpoint Pt(x,y): ( , )
S(-4, 5) is the midpoint of line MP. P(-8,8) Find M(x,y)
-4 = [x +(-8)]/2 x = 0
5 = [y+8]/2 y = 2
M(0,2)
CHECKING our Answer***
(-8 + 0)/2 = -4
(8 + 2)/2 = 5
