Calculate the slope, x intercept and y intercept.
4.2x+3.8y=1.9
38y=-42x+19
y=(-42/38)x+(19/38)
=(-21/19)x+(1/2)
this gives the slope = -21/19
and y-intercept = 1/2
To find the x-intercept, set y=0, then solve for x
0=(-21/19)x+(1/2)
(21/19)x=1/2
x=.552
ans:
slope=-21/19
y-intercept=1/2
x-intercept =.552
