Question 343573: I have this problem on my math homework y=[x]+2 and another that says f(x)=3[x]. I am not sure how to graph these. Could I please have some help? Thanks!
Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=[x]+2
y=x+2 (red line)
y=-x+2 (green line)
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, of TWO functions x +2 and -x +2).
f(x)=3[x].
f(x)=3x (red line)
f(x)=-3x (green line)
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, of TWO functions y = 3x and y = -3x).
