Question 289929: Ok so I am so lost on this question can someone help me I have been trying to figure it out all morning.
Let P=(x,y) be a point of the graph y=x2^-9.
d(x)=
What is d if x=0?
What is d if x=1?
For what positive value of x is d the smallest.
This is jsut review before midterms but when I look at the schools examples I am not sure where the number that they have are coming from. Could someone break this down for me piece by piece? Thanks!
