8y-12+6y=6y+6
14y-6y=6+12
8y=18
y=18/8
y=2.25
8*2.25-3(4-2*2.25)=6(2.25+1)
18-3(4-4.5)=6*3.25
18-3*-.5=19.5
18+1.5=19.5
19.5=19.5
