Question 208782: Solve for the variable. non-integer answers may be left in fractional form or decimal form
3/5x + 7/10= 1/3x + 3/2
Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
 3/5x+7/10=1/3x+3/2
3x/5-x/3=3/2-7/10
(3x*3-x*5)/(5*3)=(3*10-7*2)/(2*10)
(9x-5x)/15=(30-14)/20
4x/15=16/20
4x*20=15*16
80x=240
x=240/80
x=3 ans.
Proof:
3*3/5+7/10=3/3+3/2
9/5+7/10=1+1.5
1.8+.7=2.5
2.5=2.5
