Question 191297: I need help with this one. Find the slope of a line perpandicular to 5x - 4y =2
Answer by kara!(17) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First solve equation for y to find a slope from slope-intercept form;which is y=mx+b
Y= 5/4 *x-1/2
slope is m=5/4
slope of the perpendicular line is going to be -4/5
because when 5/4* (-4/5)=-1, the lines are perpendicular.
the answer is:-4/5
