I'M AFRAID IT ISN'T CORRECT.

SLOPE=(Y2-Y1/(X2-X1)
1=(-2-Y)/-9+3)
1=(-2-Y)/-6
1*-6=-2-Y
-6=-2-Y
Y=-2+6
Y=4 ANSWER.

The slope is given by . So just substitute the coordinates from the two points. It doesn't really matter, but I'm calling (-3,y) and (-9,-2) .
