Question 12581: Hi, can you please help me with this equation. The line 2y=4x+3 is drawn on a set of cartesian axes. A) what is the gradient of this line? B) What are the coordinates of the point where the line cuts the y axis?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The gradient is given by -(A/B) where A is coeff of x and B is coeff of Y. Thus slope is -2.
When it intersects y axis the value of x would be 0. So putting x = 0 in eqn of line 2y = 3. Thus y = 3/2
hence the pt is (0,3/2)
