M(-2,-2) is the midpoint of RS. If S has coordinates (2,2) find the coordinates of R.
-------------
The mid-point has coordinates which are the average of the coordinates
of the end points.
----------------------------
Let the coordinates of R be (x,y)
-----------------------------
EQUATIONS:
(x+2)/2 = -2
x+2 = -4
x = -6
----------------
(y+2)/2 = -2
y+2 = -4
y = -6
--------------
R has coordinates (-6,-6)

I BELIEVE YOUR GRAPH IS INCORRECT AS I GET THE POINT FOR R=(-6,-6).
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN (-2,-2) & (2,2) IS:
+4 & +4.
SO WE SUBTRACT 4 & 4 FROM THE POINTS (-2-4) & (-2-4) & WE GET -6 & -6 FOR THE LOCATION OF R.
RECHECK YOUR GRAPH & YOU SHOULD GET (-6,-6).
