" polar parameters "  are traditionally called  " polar coordinates ".

It is not welcome in  Math to introduce new names for conceptions that just have their traditional names.

In opposite,  it is assumed that a person who creates his or her compositions in  Math,  is familiar
with traditional conceptions and uses them properly.

Otherwise,  it makes an impression that the newcomer composer does not know the subject.
