For brevity, I will use notations C, M, L and T for cities and "c" (coins), "s" (stamps), "b" (books) and "e" (baseball) bor collectors/collections.

(1)  From (A), "b" was not in M;   "b" was in August.

(2) From (B), "e" was not in L, and "c" was not in T and "c" was not in M.

(3)  From (C),  "c" was not in C.    C was in October.  "c" was not in C.

(4)  From (D), "s" was not in M.

Looking in this info (1) -(4), we see that neither "b", nor "c", nor "s" was in M.

It leaves only one possibility for M : M = "e".   (*)

Next, from (2)  "c" was not in T;  from (3),  "c" was not in C;  from (*),  "c" was not in M.

It leaves only one opportunity for "c" : "c" = L.

Next, from (A)  "b" was not in M; from (1) and (3),  "b" was not in C.

It leaves for "b" only one opportunity "b" = T.

Finally, it remains only one opportunity for  "s" :  "s" = C.

ANSWER. "e" = M (baseball convention was in Mandaue)

         "c" = L     (coins   convention was in Lapu-Lapu)

         "b" = T (books convention was in Talisay)

         "s" = C (stamps convention was in Cebu).

Solved.
