You want to reflect that point over the y-axis.  So pretend that the y-axis is a
mirror facing left.  Think about where it would look like the reflection of that
point would be.  In the mirror, it would look like the point would be over on
the right like this:



So that point over on the right is the new point.  Easy, right?
