REPLACING THE X,Y & m TERMS IN THE EQUATION {Y=mX+b) WITH -2,6 & 2 & SOLVE FOR b WE GET:
6=2*-2+b
6=-4+b
b=6+4
b=10 THE Y INTERCEPT.
THEN THE EQUATION IS:
Y=2X+10 ANSWER.
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 12, y = 2x +10).
