Question 1093512: If the temperature using the Fahrenheit scale is F degrees and using the centigrade scale is F = 9C/5+32, what is the range of values of C if F is to be between 86 and 140?
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
F=86, then C=(5/9)(F-32)
C=(5/9)(54)=30 degrees.
F=140
C=(5/9)(108), subtracting 32 from 140.
C=60 degrees.
[30, 60] degrees
