Question 1068516: Question: What is the area, in square units, of the square with the four vertices at A(0, 0), B(-5, -1), C(-4, -6) and D(1, -5)?
My attempt: I think I can solve this problem...the only thing is that I'm not sure which vertices are adjacent to each other? It would be nice if you could explain how we choose which 2 points to work with, the formula, and how we get our answer. Thanks in Advance!

Plot the points and then you will see how these vertex points are arranged and identify the sides. If this is a square, then find the distance between any two ajascent vertices, and find the square of it.
