Question 103998: Hello,

I need help finding the equation of the axis of symmetry for the graph of y=x^2-7x+12, and help stating whether the axis of symmetry contains a maximum point of the graph.

Thank you

y=x^2-7x+12
Since a is positive there is a minimum.
axis of symetry = -b/2a = 7/2 = 3.5
