Put zero for x to get y intercept. If you put zero for x in -4x +2y = 24 you will get 2y=24. This means y has to be 12 since 12*2 = 24
Put zero for y in -4x +2y = 24 to get x intercept -4x* 0 *y = 24 therefore -4x=24 Therefore x is -6
