I have the following problem:
A and B are 2 points on a circle with centre O, radius r=2 with a) Arc length subtended by b) area of the sector AOB, I also get 2.8, are they the same thing, or is it a coincidence?

- No, the arc length is the length, while the sector area is the area.

But the ratio of the arc length to the circle length is the same as the ratio of the corresponding sector area to the area of the same circle.
