Question 958489: There is a sector of a circle with area 8.9, radius r and angle x in radians. Express r as a function of x.
I know the formula for the area of a sector in radians is A=(1/2)r^2(x)
so it would be 8.9=(1/2)r^2(x), but I'm having trouble getting r by itself.

Multiply each side by 2.
Divide each side by (x).
Find the square root of each side.
