If a weight hanging on a string of length 5 feet swings through 4 degrees on either side of the vertical, how long is the arc through which the weight moves from one high point to the next high point
==============
4 degs either side --> 8 degs total
Convert 8 degs to radians:
8 degs = 8*pi/180 = 2pi/45 radians
----
Arc = r*angle = 5*2pi/45 = 2pi/9 feet
Arc =~ 0.689 feet
