Question 920780: I'm just learning how to graph circles, and I was wondering if you guys can help with that. I am in eighth grade. One of my homework problems was to solve this system of equations

y = 2x

Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2 + (2x)^2 = 9
x^2 + 4x^2 = 9
5x^2=9
x^2=9/5
x = -3/sqrt(5)
x = +3/sqrt(5)

now plug in those for x and find y
y = 2x
