Two circles have areas of 49*pi and 36 *pi. find the ratio of their radii

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Formula:
Area = pi*r^2
---------
Two circles have areas of 49*pi and 36 *pi. find the ratio of their radii
1st circle: pi*r^2 = 49pi
r^2=49
r=7
-----------
2nd circle: pi*r^2 = 36pi
r^2=36
r=6
-----------
Ratio of the two radii = 7:6
