Question 774230: The radii of two circles are 10cm and 11cm.By how many square centimeters is the area of the larger circle greater than the area of the smaller circle?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area of Circle = Pi*r^2
Area of large circle = Pi * 11^2 = 380.13cm^2
Area of small circle = Pi * 10^2 = 314.16cm^2
Subtract 314.16cm^2 from 380.13cm^2
= 65.97cm^2
Hope this helps.
