Area of the Square=height times width =36 sq ft
Area of the circle = Pi times radius squared =(3.14)(4)=12.56 sq ft
Now, in order to find the area inside the square but outside the circle, we simply subtract the area of the circle from the area of the square, or
36-12.56=23.44 sq ft
