Question 591376: A circle has a radius of 6 cm. The are of a sector of the cirlce is 3 pi cm squared. What is the measure of the central angle of the sector? Please show step by step for me! Thanks!
Answer by scott8148(6628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a = pi * r^2 = 36pi

the sector is 1/12 of the circle (3 pi / 36 pi)

so the central angle is 1/12 of 360º
