what is the center and radius of A Circle whose equation is x^2+8x+y^2-10y+32=0 ?
==================
Complete the squares:
x^2 + 8x -> (x+4)(x+4) = x^2 + 8x + 16
y^2 - 10y -> (y-5)(y-5) = y^2 -10y + 25
The constant terms add up to 41: 41 - 9 = 32
So the equation of the circle is:
(x+4)^2 + (y-5)^2 = 9
Center at (-4,5), radius = 3
