Question 519231: a circle has an area of 10(3.14)cm sq. what is the diameter?
Answer by Maths68(1474) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Area of Circle = pi * r^2
Here we have
A=(10)(3.14) cm sq
Compare above with the equation of Area of Circle
pi = 3.14
r^2 = 10
r=sqrt 10
r=3.16227
Diameter of Circle = 2*r
Diameter of Circle = 2* (3.16227)
Diameter of Circle = 6.32455 cm
